Fidro vs Stripe Radar
Stripe Radar checks the card when someone pays. Fidro checks the person earlier, at signup and login, and works alongside Radar rather than replacing it.
What is Fidro?
Fidro is a fraud detection API for developers. One call checks an email address and an IP for disposable domains, VPNs, proxies, Tor and datacenters, remembers earlier signups and logins, and returns a 0 to 100 risk score with an allow, challenge or block recommendation. On the Pro plan it also scores Stripe payments. The free plan includes 200 validations a month, no credit card needed.

Where Fidro differs from Stripe Radar
Catch it earlier
Radar sees the payment. Fidro sees the signup and every login before it, so fake accounts are stopped before they reach checkout.
Signup checks on any stack
Radar only works inside Stripe. Fidro's signup and login checks are a plain API, so they work whatever payment processor you use. Payment scoring itself is for Stripe, on the Pro plan.
It knows about the email
Radar doesn't check email addresses. Fidro spots disposable domains, missing mail servers and suspicious address patterns before the account exists.
